Kinesiology
In the late 1960's an American Chiropractor Dr George Goodheart DC from Cleveland Ohio, discovered that muscles that were out of balance could be tested and their function could be improved by rubbing certain areas on the body or by holding special spots on the head. This had been researched back in the 1930's by a couple of Osteopaths who had found out certain ways to treat their patients.
He called this new "Science" Applied Kinesiology.
Kinesiology is the study of movement, coming from the Greek word "Kinesis"
to move. This was taught to Chiropractors and one day another Chiropractor
by the name of Dr John Thie DC from Pasadena California decided
to write a book called Touch For Health.
